Overview

Tombs in Bagh-e Gonbad-e Sabz are related to the historical eras after Islam in the eighth century and are located in Qom, on Enghelab Street, on the corner of Golzar Shohada. This monument was registered in the list of Iran’s national monuments on 15th of Dey 1310 with registration number 129. This complex includes three tomb towers which are located in a garden called Bagh-e Sabz at the end of Chahar Mardan Street on the corner of Golzar Shohada. This monument is unique in moldings and is known as Darvazeh Kashan and its domes are known as Darvazeh Kashan Domes. The domes in the garden toms are: 1) the southern dome, 2) the middle dome, and 3) the northern dome. According to the available inscriptions, two domes in this complex hold Safi family bodies, independent commanders of Qom in the eighth century. The inscription of the third dome is destroyed and its date and owner are not known. However, considering different evidences, the dome is related to the same era in history. The tombs of Bagh-e Gonbad-e Sabz were registered in the list of Iran’s national monuments on 15th of Dey 1310 with registration number 129.
