Fazeli Hotel – Yazd
Fazeli Traditional Hotel, one of the newest hotels in the heart of the historic quarter, opened in 2016 and was renovated in winter 2024. The building dates back to the Qajar era and includes two inner courtyards and 29 rooms with capacities of 1 to 5 people, arranged around the courtyard on two floors. Overall, Fazeli Hotel was built according to the principles of authentic Iranian and Yazdi aesthetics and architecture, which, in addition to its traditional atmosphere, has taken on a modern touch after the renovations. Its attractive architecture, a courtyard with a small pool, and windows with colored glass offer guests the experience of staying in a traditional setting with exceptional tranquility. Among the hotel’s advantages is easy access to historical and tourist sites such as the Jameh Mosque, Amir Chakhmaq Square, and Alexander’s Prison, all just steps from the hotel and reachable on foot through the mud‑plastered traditional alleys without the need for a car.
The building of Fazeli Hotel built in the end of Safavid dynasty and some changes in construction has been made in Qajar and Pahlavi dynasty. it have been reconstructed in 2013. Fazeli Hotel is located in the center of historical part of the city. The famous Jame Mosque of Yazd is just 50 meters away from hotel. The hotel has easy access to historical places and recreation center of city. Hotel is located near historical buildings like Jame Mosque, Amir Chakhmaq Complex, Water Museum, Khan-e Lari, Alexanders Prison, Khan Complex, Ancient Towers & Ramparts of Yazd, Coin Museum, and Ethnological Museum.

Very good. However, from around 7 am, the fountain started to run and wash, making noise.
Overall it was good
Overall, considering the location and parking in front of the hotel that is very important in that traditional area, the hotel is suitable. However, you should know that a double room is really small and not to my liking, the ventilation system needs serious renovation; in fact, it doesn't work; but the hotel's reconstruction and decoration are excellent and noticeable. The cleanliness was relatively good but could have been better regarding bed linen.
I travel to hotels a lot due to my job, I have rarely seen such a well-built and clean hotel at this price
We arrived late and the room was very cold, and the heating system didn't work properly and was noisy. We informed reception about it and they refused to change the room and even refused to give us an extra blanket. We were inconvenienced until morning due to the noise from the air conditioner, the cold room, and the fact that the sheets were full of hair and we couldn't use them.
In general, the hotel is good
The equipment in the room was outdated, the air conditioning didn't work at all and the refrigerator made noise every half hour, making it impossible to rest!
