Afrineh Waterfall – Khorram Abad

This cylindrical and brick minaret is a relic of the 5th century AH., located near the old city of Shahpour Khast. The same is also known as the minaret of Khoram Abad as it stands to the south west of this city. The vicinity surrounding this relic has been converted into a park.

The said valley is 15 km. in length, nestling among the limestone mountains at an elevation of 1,170 m. Enhanced with natural beauty in addition to the springs, rivers, forests and caves in the vicinity. Relics of the past reveal that this area was inhabited much before the birth of Christ.
