Peraw Mountain – Kermanshah

The mountainous region of Peraw in the northeast of Kermanshah has an area of about 1,020 sq. km. It consists of various mountains such as Taq Bostan , Bistoon Peraw (3,257 m), Kamar Kabood peak (2,916 m) of the Chaleh Zand Mountains. The most important and deep cave of the middle east to the depth 572 m. known as Peraw is located on southern slopes of Qateh Charmi summit. The Houjir Mountain is located to the east of the Peraw highland and the Denvar River Valley separates it from this region, and creates a smaller high land.
