Golool Protected Zone – Shirvan

This area covers 17,000 hectares and is 70 km. north of Shirvan, and is situated on the borders of Iran and Turkemenistan. Dense forests and verdant pastures can also be sighted here as well as wildlife. Golool is a Kurdish word.
