Bondor Abad Monastery, Rastaq – Yazd

The Soltan aggregate of Bondor Abad is located in the Rastaq vicinity. The most significant parts of this complex are: Monastery (Khaneqah), Jame' Mosque, Hosseinieh (Mourning Place), water reservoir, watch tower and a tomb which is the burial-place of a number of Sheikhs of Dadaee Dynasty. In terms of art designing, calligraphy and sculpture , a number of these tombstones are of great value. In the Jame' Mosque of this complex, there is a unique pulpit decorated with tiles and spectacular with Islamic design and hand writings.
